Sledding
Tennenblick Sled Run
Behind the village's new Bauhof store, a footpath leads up through the forest. Initially the path is steepish, but then things get easier. Once at Gasthof Tennenblick, you can rent out your sleds.
Walk-Time: about 20 min.
Sonnseit'n-Hochmaisalm
The sled run begins at Gut Vorderschwaig, which you can reach from town either along the road or by taking the Eulersberg winter hiking path.
Walk-Time: about 45 min.
Children's Sledding Hill
This great sledding hill is on the Wengerau winter walking trail next to the Leitingerhof. When you are ready to catch your breath, the world's first solar-heated winter bench awaits you!
Strussingalm Sled Run
You'll ride the IKARUS 8-passenger cabin lift to the Bischling, enjoy the magical views once you are up there, then take the chair lift down to the Strussingalm, where you will be greeted by a 6 km-long run. Sled rentals at the Strussingalm are free for holders of the SAMO Advantage Card.
